Fabric from Cheshire Needlecraft, Goostrey Home and LeisureWell, I bought this amazing fabric last summer while doing work experience at a quilting shop. It has so many beautiful colours, but because of how busy it is means I haven't found anything to do with it yet.
After reading Vogue's June issue I was inspired by their 'More Dash than Cash' shoot, in which each outfit had various scarves and belts which were homemade with Liberty Fabrics. I decided I would finally make use of my fabric by making some laces for my favourite boots.

The interesting print and mix of colours remind me of Alexander McQueen's S/S 10 Collection, which was based on Darwin's 'On the Origin of Species' and his theory of evolution.
